• PAGAN b.v.b.a. (= private limited company) was created in 1995 by three Belgian pharmacists. Being buyers of chemicals themselves, they were not pleased with the existing services, and decided to create a new company, entirely designed to fulfil the needs of buyers of chemicals, looking for professional assistance.

• PAGAN should independently be able to choose the best possible source for every product, without exclusive commitments to any particular producer. PAGAN should also be financially independent, making it possible to buy at different financial conditions and terms, and sell any product to the customer, always with the same payment terms.

• PAGAN should be able to provide assistance in every field related to the product. For that purpose, PAGANs owners put three lifetimes of experience at the disposal of their customers; they have professional experience in chemical synthesis, drugs manufacture, dispensation of drugs, regulatory affairs, analysis, analytical techniques, QC & QA, international trading, futures and spot markets, transport regulations, ... For the same purpose, nearly every source of information is available in PAGANs offices, facilitating the dialogue with customers and suppliers.

• PAGANs customers should be treated as unique customers. We understand the importance of product labelling, client-specific paperwork, TSE-certification, COS, DMF, ICH-guidelines, etc.

• Working with PAGAN shouldn’t be expensive. That is why we are always trading back tot back, holding only minimal stocks. Being a small company means we don’t carry the burdon of heavy overheads. On the other hand, PAGAN is known to have considerable buying force, due to the addition of all the requirements of its customers.

• As a result, working with PAGAN should be more advantageous than dealing individually with a large number of suppliers. For many buyers of raw materials from all over the world, that is already a proven fact!
